Maybe Agulo´s is one of the best preserved historic centre in Canary island. La Montañeta and Las Casas neightboorhood are remarkable by their traditional XVIIIth and XIXth´s century architecture. Casa Trujillo and Casa de Lugo are good samples of the manor houses in la Gomera.
Handcraft y Santo Domingo Convent in Hermigua
S. Domingo Convent, built over an ancient chapel, it was funded in 1611 by the Dominics. Inside we can also find Nuestra Señora del Rosario Chapel, a very nice indoor piece from the XVIII century. Very close to the Convent you can visit Los Telares, a private handcraft center perfect to buy some traditional fancyworks.
San Sebastian
Funded in 1450, San Sebastian de la Gomera place where of XVth´s century architechtonics pieces can be found and will remember us the the period Christopher Columbus replenish here before discovering America. Nuestra Señora de la Concepción church is one of the most emblematic building of the capital city. Restored houses from the XVIII century give more charmful environment to place even . You can not miss either the Wheat Mill, which still conserve intact their wooden blades.
