Cueva del Viento
The largest volcanic tube in the European Union is Cueva del Viento, a 17 kilometres labyrinth of tunnels very close to Icod de los Vinos. There are guided tours regulary every day from Tuesday to Saturday. (00 34 922 815 339; www.cuevadelviento.net; (Tues-Sat, 9am-4pm; tour guide shedule: 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm).

Los Gigantes Cliffs
The Los Gigantes Cliffs are almost 1,600 feet up from the surface of the Atlantic Ocean. Visitors can take a boat to see the cliffs up close. After trip ask for a great fresh fish meal in one of the restaurant of the coast and take the most of swimming in one of the stunning beaches over there. Take time to go also to the nearby Oasis Pools, a complex with different services inside as sunbeds, children’s play area and of course a bar overlooking the cliffs and the varied menu of it restaurant. (www.oasislosgigantes.com)

Basilica of Candelaria
The Basilica of Candelaria is a large church in Candelaria. The interior of the basilica is filled with classical murals and amazing sculptures. Nuestra Señora de Candelaria is a virgin located inside and represent the Canary Island´s patrones. Formal processions in honor of religious festivals can be seen in August and February
